The position entails an active role in the administration of Master’s programmes as part of the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Specifically, the role will involve liasing with the different academic pillars and clusters in SUTD in the operations of Master programmes, and ensuring the requirements and processes are in place while working closely with the students and other central departments like Student Administration and Finance. This role will include administrative support in exemplar areas of admissions, post-admissions and student matters. In addition, the role will require assisting with public awareness of SUTD’s graduate programmes in reaching out to prospective students.  

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the pillars on the administration of SUTD graduate programmes
  • Plan and coordinate administrative activities between pillars and the Office of Graduate Studies including pre-admissions and post-admission matters
  • Attend to student enquiries, and provide good guidance, with a service and user-centric focus
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for key functions of the Office of Graduate Studies
  • Prepare facts and statistics as well as generate reports
  • Collect and analyse data and trends to enhance recruiting and policies relating to graduate programmes
  • Participate in admission/recruitment talks and events
  • Support collaboration and maintain partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and review current processes and, creatively make recommendations and implement innovative advancement of OGS
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed to support OGS

Requirements:

  • A recognised Diploma, or A-levels, and relevant certifications equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Positive work attitude with service orientation
  • Creative, meticulous, resourceful and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/IT applications
  • Prior experience in administration and management of graduate programmes in educational industry would be an added advantage
