Research Associate – Administration

  • Assist with procurement of goods and services required by the ASI office, including preparation of requirements specifications, procurement documents and raising purchase requests and orders.
  • Assist to maintain, stock take and track all research assets, supplies and materials and provide regular reports as required.
  • Ensure office facilities, supplies and resources (e.g. stationary, pantry items) are well stocked.
  • Report office facilities faults and issues to the relevant departments for resolution.
  • Assist with handling logistics for events (e.g. meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, team bonding activities), such as booking of venue, foods and beverages/refreshment, signage, identifying the audio-visual equipment required for various types of events, including e-events.
  • Assist overseas visitors with travel arrangements (e.g. flight and hotel bookings) and visa applications.
  • To produce creative designs and layouts for offline and online marketing content and collaterals (e.g. social media posts, website management, EDMs, company profile, company factsheet and infographics etc). Content includes, but not limited to, videos, online galleries and infographics.
  • Assist with the liaison of external meeting participants, event speaker and attendees.
  • Manage participants record and all other records for seminar/workshops/conference in accordance to policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Compile content from various group members and ensure that ASI’s website is regularly updated.
  • Create in-houses stock images and stock photos.
  • Carry out other administrative, event administration and logistics duties as required.



  • A degree in any field of study.
  • High level of initiative and result-oriented, with the ability to set, meet and exceed goals.
  • Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills, and high motivation to learn.
  • Good problem solving skill with the ability to establish work priorities and carry out duties with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and the research community from within and across departments.
  • Digitally savvy, able to pick up new applications and digital services quickly.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation, infographics, EDM and video editing software.
