Job Scope:
Lead the daily administration and operation of multidisciplinary labs cluster, work with stakeholders and provide technical support to the lab users to contribute the successful curriculum delivery.
Provide comprehensive logistical, administrative & publicity supports for the various teaching lab clusters, active learning spaces and academic facilities.
Provide comprehensive technical support, consolidate and analyze the active learning spaces and academic facilities utilization and trend through structured methodology for optimal utilization of the active learning spaces and academic facilities, and the projection for the future needs and requirements.
Assist comprehensively in active learning spaces and academic facilities smart transformation in the area of planning, executing and managing the projects from conceptualization, specification scoping, procurement, through project progress monitoring and tracking, vendor management, until project acceptance and commissioning as well as training, service and maintenance. Areas to be covered include: robotics, AR/VR/MR, IoT, AI and etc.
Provide wide support in managing and conducting surveys for improvement of active learning space and academic facilities, analyze the results and provide the recommendations for improvement.
Assist in planning and organizing the active learning spaces and academic facilities task forces and follow up and through the outstanding matters and issues.
Assist in planning and organizing meetings for stakeholders to meet, resolve and pre-empt matters related to active learning spaces and academic facilities, and optimal scheduling of active learning spaces and academic facilities for classes.
Maintain proper documentation, and the revision of which, of work processes and flows as well as rules and regulations for the efficient operations of the active learning spaces and academic facilities.
Bookkeeping of budget utilizations for planning and projection purposes.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in engineering or science from a recognized university, prior working experience in relevant areas will be an advantage
Positive and mature attitude towards working in a fast evolving environment, and be willing to learn new technical skill sets as and when the situation calls for it
Able to work independently in a highly dynamic environment that comes with tight deadlines
Strong service-oriented mindset
Good team player and have excellent communication skills with a high proficiency level in both written and spoken English
