Job description

Joining the team at the Office of Marketing and Communications, you will be directly involved in leading, planning and implementing university events like the Open House and large-scale lectures featuring Nobel laureates or Pritzker Architecture Prize winners. For the latter, this includes working with creative and media agencies to conceptualise innovative campaigns to promote the lectures and the SUTD brand.

In addition, you will be supporting other university events led by other departments, such as the Graduation Day, Learning Celebration Carnival, Capstone Showcase, and Global Young Scientists Summit.

Apart from events, you will work with the team to develop new ideas and execute marketing plans to promote the university among the youth target audience, parents, and educators. You will gain exposure to working with creative and media agencies to plan and implement marketing campaigns, spanning from traditional to digital media (beyond paid media), and develop marketing materials

Through these on-ground event activations and marketing efforts, you will help drive the team’s goals to let potential students, parents and industry partners gain a deeper understanding of SUTD, along with the importance of technology and design that will impact and shape the future of our world.



  • Associate - A degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management or similar with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with relevant experience through CCAs will also be considered.
  • Senior Associate - A degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management or similar with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the following areas is preferred:
    • Event and project management
    • Youth marketing/brands
    • Tertiary education sector
  • Good writing and communications skills. An ability to read and write a second language is also preferred.
  • Able to work independently and in teams.
  • Analytical, meticulous, and able to multi-task.
  • Able to manage and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders concurrently and amicably.
  • Able to handle changes to plan and tight deadlines, and has a positive stress management approach.
  • Keen interest in design and technology is a plus.
