  1. Provide research analytics services to the SUTD community and provide consultation to faculty, staff and students on the use of citation tools to generate citation report, research impact report.
  2. Develop and conduct trainings for faculty, staff and students in the areas of research data management and use of tools to generate research matrix citation analysis.
  3. Create educational resources on scholarly communications.
  4. Plan, develop and implement appropriate systems and infrastructure for the Institutional Repository (IR) to support research data curation in collaboration with IT Department.
  5. Manage the IR.
  6. Create and maintain data curation policy processes, procedures. Develop appropriate workflows and metadata schema for ingesting and maintaining data and digital materials.
  7. Disseminate and showcase SUTD research through IMPACT@SUTD as well as the iWall.
  8. Engage academia and research staff on depositing their materials and the use of IR.
  9. Keep abreast of the latest and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and impact in scholarly communication, IR management and data management. Adopt best practices for SUTD.
  10. Apply knowledge and coordinate metadata creation and technical expertise in Library Management System.
  11. Review metadata created for completeness and accuracy and troubleshoot errors (when necessary).
  12. Any other duties / projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with postgraduate qualifications in library and information related fields, and in-depth experience in library, research and training skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Knowledge on use of citation tools
  • Knowledge of best practices in the setup of IR and IR management
  • Familiar with Library systems
  • Keen learner who is adaptable and able to work independently and in a team
  • Experience in providing scholarly communications services in an academic library setting will be an advantage
