Job description
The Associate will be part of the Housing Administration team. He/she will administer/process student housing exercises and other housing applications and manage housing allocation. He/she will also respond to any related queries via email or telephone, or in person where necessary.
Student housing
Plan and execute various hostel application exercises for the student community
Process applications in compliance to the policies for different student groups
Work closely with different departments for students’ information and reports consolidation
Maintain an overview of hostel room occupancy. Manage room allocation in the Housing Management System to optimise hostel occupancy.
Process early check-in, housing extension and room change requests
Involvement in mass check-in/check-out activities, including handling on-the-spot room changes
Staff housing
Process staff or visitor applications and housing renewals in accordance with current policies
Prepare housing offers and manage housing reservations in the Housing Management System
Manage viewing requests for staff apartments
Other duties
Update housing-related information on University’s website
Prepare ad hoc reports on occupancy and applications
Any other duties that may be assigned
Requirements:
A recognised diploma
Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Having knowledge in MS Excel formulas especially VLOOKUP and PivotTable will be advantageous
Comfortable in learning new systems and using these systems daily
Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Able to handle and consolidate large volumes of data
Able to work well independently and as a team
