What You’ll Do

You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Research, which includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Provide end-to-end support to faculty for pre- and post-award management in a timely and accurate manner and advise on institutional processes/policies and funding agencies’ requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the University’s research agenda.
  • Manage research grant processes to ensure compliance with institutional policies and funding agencies’ guidelines. Maintain appropriate governance, documentation, and process controls to support auditability and good grant management stewardship.
  • Manage day‑to‑day grants system activities, coordinate system updates across stakeholders, deliver research reporting and analytics, and support workflow standardisation and automation within grant administration.
  • Provide secretariat support for meetings organised by the Office of Research where required.

 

 Who We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor in a scientific/technical discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in grant and/or project management
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Singapore’s R&D and funding landscape (e.g. MOE, NRF, A*STAR grants)
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic working environment and meet tight deadlines
  • A strong sense of ownership and able to autonomously carry forward key aspects of work
  • Work well both independently and within a team
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skill
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
