What You’ll Do
You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Research, which includes but is not limited to the following:
- Provide end-to-end support to faculty for pre- and post-award management in a timely and accurate manner and advise on institutional processes/policies and funding agencies’ requirements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the University’s research agenda.
- Manage research grant processes to ensure compliance with institutional policies and funding agencies’ guidelines. Maintain appropriate governance, documentation, and process controls to support auditability and good grant management stewardship.
- Manage day‑to‑day grants system activities, coordinate system updates across stakeholders, deliver research reporting and analytics, and support workflow standardisation and automation within grant administration.
- Provide secretariat support for meetings organised by the Office of Research where required.
Who We Are Looking For
- A Bachelor in a scientific/technical discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in grant and/or project management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Singapore’s R&D and funding landscape (e.g. MOE, NRF, A*STAR grants)
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic working environment and meet tight deadlines
- A strong sense of ownership and able to autonomously carry forward key aspects of work
- Work well both independently and within a team
- Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skill
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
