Job Description

We are seeking applicants for a full-time postdoctoral research fellow position in 2D material simulations (ONLY theory and simulation). The successful candidate will apply density functional theory simulations to study 2D materials and their heterostructures. Particular focus will be made to uncover the potential and performance of these material system for electronics applications. The position will also involve collaboration with experimentalists.

Essential job requirements

• PhD in computational/theoretical Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong expertise in density functional theory simulations
• Good understanding on spintronics
• Proven publication record

Additional requirements (optional)

• Machine learning technique for material research
• High throughput computational search and screening of 2D materials
