Research Fellow I

Job Scope:

Contribute to the design and implementation of natural language processing algorithms that can perform fundamental research in the field of natural language processing, which can lead to significant research outputs. The candidate is also expected to be able to take a lead role in the team, working closely with the PI on research publications, as well as supervising junior researchers in the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• PhD in computer science or related discipline
• Strong background in statistics, mathematics, system implementation, software engineering, and programming ability
• Track record of research experience and publications in the area of artificial intelligence, machine learning, information extraction, and natural language processing
• Proven experience in the implementation and evaluation of machine learning algorithms
• Proven experience in supervising junior researchers
