Research Fellow I

The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) invites applications for a Research Fellow (RF) in the Pillar of Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD). 

Responsibilities:

The RF will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and his study team in the areas of advanced wireless communication technologies. The focus will be on advanced physical layer modulation schemes to enable and improve communication and coordination in a heterogeneous wireless scenario. Duties include literature survey, research problem ideation, system building, and research report composition. The RF will also need to work closely with other team members and outside partners.

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Good PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent from a well-recognized university in a relevant area.
• Programming skills in C/C++ or Python or MATLAB. 
• Experience in research.
• Knowledgeable about physical layer wireless communication (modulation, coding, MIMO, CSI, etc).
• Knowledgeable about AI in physical layer is a plus. 
• Familiarity in software-defined radio (such USRP or equivalent) and cross-technology communication/signal emulation.
• Publications in top mobile computing conferences and journals.
