Seeking highly motivated individual to support interdisciplinary research projects that seek to find effective ways in shifting community behaviours towards climate positive actions and better population health, through design ethnographic studies, data analytics, community design and urban planning. The candidate should have relevant university degree and/or experience in architecture/planning/social science/data science. Trans-disciplinary candidates are preferred.

Job scopes include combination of the followings:

  1. Design ethnographic research, including planning, coordinating and facilitating community engagements, qualitative and quantitative data collection, and fieldwork.
  2. Data analytics to derive people-environment correlation, community needs, behavioural motivations, and community design strategies.
  3. Urban design & development, by translating data into community programs and urban design (3D modelling, AI-enabled tools, drawing, detailing, digital fabrication).
  4. Research administration and project management, publicity and communication, coordinating with  collaborators/ stakeholders/vendors.
  5. Research documentations, presentations and writings.


We are looking for candidate that demonstrates:
1. Solid operational skills, with the ability to work and deliver tasks independently and proactively
2. Strong interest in participatory design, community engagements, and strategic planning
3. Creative in design and experienced in content management, visual communications, and writing. (Creativity in architectural/urban design, representation and presentation is preferred)
4. Technical skills such as basic programming, data analytics and 3D modelling will also be an advantage
5. Good team player
