The Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC) at Singapore University of Technology and Design invites applications for a Research Assistant position. The successful candidate will join the LKYCIC Ageing Urbanism Research Programme and contribute to a project on the built environment and health connection.

Qualification and Skills:

 

  • A Master’s degree in urban planning/urban design/architecture/public health.
  • Sound knowledge of key aspects of the built environment and their effects on health.
  • Demonstrated skills in literature search, review and synthesis.
  • Demonstrated skills in quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including assisting in developing reports and papers for publication and presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated time management and project organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team and an interdisciplinary environment, with minimal supervision.
