Postdoctoral Fellow Position in AI and Cyber-Physical System Security
The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellow position, for a project on the cybersecurity of critical cyber-physical systems (CPSes) with emphases on smart power systems.
Candidates should have a PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or related areas, and a track record of publications in high-quality journals and/or conferences. Good written/oral communication skills in English, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team, are required. Skills and experience in both analytical and empirical research are highly desirable. Technical areas include (but are not limited to):
1) AI and machine learning
2) Cyber-physical systems, particularly power systems
3) Computer and network security
Responsibilities include:
1) Formulate and drive research that aims to identify attacks/anomalies from system data, e.g., using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques
2) Design and implement prototypes of solutions to CPS problems.
3) Interact with the industry partner and help mentor junior researchers in the research team.
4) Document and disseminate the R&D and its findings in publications and professional meetings.
Availability: Immediate until filled.
